Sheikh Omran |
Before he was our most admired and respected Sheikh, he was a student and eager learner at the University of Madina studying for an Bachelor of Arts; Islamic Law. Born in Amman, Jordan on the 13th of June 1957, Sheikh Mohammad Jamal Omran Al-Qurayshi Al-Hashimi, descendant of the family of our beloved Rasulullah (SAW), had the love of preaching Islam in his blood. It was only a matter of time and personal discovery that Allah would lead him on the journey to his destiny as one of the greatest leaders and teachers of our time. His grandfather Ahmad, a judges' assistant and his father Sobhi were both fluently educated in the Quran. Being the trend at time, children were all sent to school where Sheikhs taught them the Quran impeccably. This was known as Al-Katub of Al-Kattateeb. |
