The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) is an independent Palestinian organization, established first in Arabic on 1st December 1997. The English language site was launched on 1st January 1998. Other languages followed.

The main focus of GIYC is the Muslim youth and to cater for the wider community. There is a definite need in todays society to combat various evils and bad distractions for our young generation. With this in mind, GIYC was conceived as an alternative that is both appealing and stimulating to the youth.

IslamicSydney.com is a non-sectarian, non-profit web site run by volunteers, and relies on the support and good will of brothers and sisters in the community to survive. It was established to provide a focal point for Muslims living in Sydney, to bind the community together and be an extensive source of information for locals and visitors.

Muslim Forum

The LMA is a community based not-for-profit welfare organization established in 1962 by a group of Lebanese immigrants seeking to provide welfare, social, representative and religious services to the Muslim Community in Australia. Once established, they set out to unify the community with a common place of worship and in 1972 their efforts resulted in the construction of Australia’s largest mosque. The LMA also accommodates Sheikh Taj Eldine El Hilali and the Representative of the Lebanese Republic Sheikh Yahya Safi.

Before he was our most admired and respected Sheikh, he was a student and eager learner at the University of Madina studying for an Bachelor of Arts; Islamic Law. Born in Amman, Jordan on the 13th of June 1957, Sheikh Mohammad Jamal Omran Al-Qurayshi Al-Hashimi, descendant of the family of our beloved Rasulullah (SAW), had the love of preaching Islam in his blood. It was only a matter of time and personal discovery that Allah would lead him on the journey to his destiny as one of the greatest leaders and teachers of our time. His grandfather Ahmad, a judges' assistant and his father Sobhi were both fluently educated in the Quran. Being the trend at time, children were all sent to school where Sheikhs taught them the Quran impeccably. This was known as Al-Katub of Al-Kattateeb.
